Methinks they’re worried about the future and want to be ready with contingencies . It does seem crazy to me that all of this could just fold and be shuttered - there’s plenty of money to be made here with the right management. “Deadspin, Kotaku, Jezebel, Kinja, Jalopnik, and Gizmodo all made the top 25 sites with the highest percentage of millennial web traffic.”

Yeah, I signed up for DT a while back, and just kinda forgot about it. Never really figured out how it works. For all its faults, Kinja is still  pretty good.

Good for you - I opened an account years ago, but don’t log onto it anymore, because Facebook became a cesspool of garbage at some point.

Lol - you’re probably right, but a lot of it depends on who your ‘friends’ are— my feed got much much worse in 2015/16, due to brain less political diatribes (on both sides), invites for stupid games, and links to stories that were either completely uninteresting or obviously fake (often both).

Ugh - my life is way better without FB.
